Vistaprint Taps Fivetran to Power AI-Ready Customer Data

Fivetran, a global leader in automated data movement, has announced that Vistaprint has selected its platform to accelerate the shift toward modern data activation and AI-driven customer experiences.

As part of this collaboration, Fivetran is powering secure, automated data pipelines that move governed first-party data from Vistaprint’s core systems into Snowflake, and then activating that data back into operational tools using reverse ETL. This approach allows Vistaprint’s teams to work with consistent, trusted data directly inside the platforms they use every day.

Data plays a central role in how Vistaprint personalizes experiences, improves marketing performance, and streamlines operations. The company runs on a cloud-first architecture using Amazon Web Services and analytics tools like Statsig to understand how small businesses interact with its platform. Over the past few years, Vistaprint has transitioned away from on-premises systems and adopted a data mesh strategy, treating data as a shared and trusted resource across teams.

According to George Fraser, CEO of Fivetran, activating first-party data across paid and owned channels allows Vistaprint to move faster, deliver more personalized experiences, and confidently support AI initiatives. He added that Fivetran is proud to support Vistaprint’s evolution into a truly data-driven organization.

In paid marketing channels, reverse ETL enables Vistaprint to enrich platforms such as Google and Meta with accurate first-party data. This improves targeting, boosts return on ad spend, and reduces dependence on third-party signals in programmatic advertising.

Reverse ETL also supports experimentation across owned channels. Using an audience testing stack that includes Iterable and Contentful, Vistaprint synchronizes control and test audiences across systems. This creates a single source of truth for measurement, helping teams more accurately evaluate campaign performance across channels.

Drew Forster, Director of Marketing Optimization at Vistaprint, noted that fast access to trusted data inside marketing tools has transformed how teams operate. Campaigns can be personalized more quickly, experiments can be launched with confidence, and AI initiatives are easier to support because the data is always available and reliable.

As Vistaprint continues to expand its use of AI—from smarter recommendations to improved design workflows Fivetran ensures high-quality, governed data flows continuously into operational systems, helping teams make better decisions and deliver more relevant customer experiences.
