Salesforce and Google have deepened their strategic alliance with a major expansion focused on bringing next-generation AI innovations to the enterprise ecosystem. The collaboration integrates Google’s Gemini models directly into Salesforce’s new Agentforce 360 Platform, marking a pivotal step in transforming how employees and customers experience AI-driven business solutions.
At the heart of this enhanced partnership is employee productivity. By integrating Agentforce 360 with Google Workspace, the companies are redefining how sales, IT, and service teams collaborate. The partnership also extends the Salesforce Gemini integration, already available in Gmail, to additional Google Workspace tools, delivering seamless, intelligent, and context-aware user experiences across business functions.
These advancements aim to create connected, trustworthy, and intelligent customer interactions that redefine enterprise standards.
Gemini Integration and Advanced Agent Interoperability
Through this collaboration, customers can leverage Google’s Gemini models to power Salesforce’s Atlas Reasoning Engine the intelligent core behind Agentforce. This expansion enhances model flexibility and harnesses Gemini’s multimodal intelligence to solve complex, multi-step enterprise challenges. Moreover, the integration enables hybrid reasoning, allowing Gemini-powered AI agents within Salesforce to generate more precise, reliable business outcomes.
The companies are also enhancing large action models AI systems that automate business processes beyond text generation by fine-tuning Gemini models to outperform industry-leading large language models (LLMs) in key CRM benchmarks. As a result, organizations can automate intricate, multi-step operations more accurately and efficiently.
“In the enterprise environment, it’s imperative for AI agents to be highly capable and highly consistent, especially for critical use cases,” said Silvio Savarese, Chief Scientist at Salesforce. “Together, we are setting a new standard for building the future of what’s possible in the Agentic Enterprise down to the model level.”
Both companies are reinforcing their commitment to open standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A), which enable collaboration between multiple AI agents across platforms and specialized domains. These standards build on Agentforce 360’s orchestration capabilities, connecting data, agents, and tools seamlessly across the enterprise.
AI-Enabled Workforce: Google Workspace + Agentforce 360
Salesforce and Google have long collaborated to enhance the employee experience through integrated platforms. With Agentforce 360, users can now access Salesforce Customer 360 apps such as Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service directly within Google Workspace apps like Gmail and Meet.
For instance, when a visitor clicks on a website, Agentforce Sales can instantly trigger a personalized Gmail conversation, qualify the lead, and schedule meetings in Google Calendar. Similarly, expanded Gemini integrations allow sellers to securely access CRM insights across Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides, and Meet.
The new Agentforce IT Service solution also introduces native Google integrations, helping agents and IT teams improve service delivery speed and quality. Teams can now automate access to Google Workspace, manage device security via ChromeOS, and analyze IT service patterns with Looker.
“The deeper integration of Google Workspace with Gemini and Salesforce has the power to fundamentally improve how teams get work done,” said George Kwon, VP of Product Management for Google Workspace Platform and Growth. “This integration unifies critical business information with powerful AI assistance, helping teams across sales, customer service, and IT make smarter decisions and streamline their work with critical information, all from the tools they use every day.”
Gemini Enterprise and Slack Integration for the Agentic Era
The partnership also introduces Gemini Enterprise directly into the flow of work through Slack’s Real-Time Search API. This integration allows Gemini Enterprise users to ground responses in the organization’s most recent conversational data, enabling faster, insight-driven actions.
Additionally, users can now access Gemini Enterprise agents directly within Slack’s interface to generate instant insights and summaries based on live workspace data bridging collaboration and intelligence in real time.
Further momentum in the Salesforce-Google partnership includes:
