Target has rolled out its new conversational AI-powered “Target Gift Finder,” which makes choosing the perfect present faster and more effortless. Shoppers can simply enter details about the recipient or occasion, and the tool provides tailored gift ideas that streamline decision-making and reduce holiday stress. This feature makes shopping feel more like chatting with a personal assistant — interactive, engaging, and efficient.

List-to-Cart Scanning Made Easy

To help shoppers stay organized, Target’s “List Scanner” now allows guests to scan handwritten notes or digital lists directly in the Target app. In seconds, those items appear in their cart for quick checkout. This time-saving feature is ideal for families managing multiple wish lists during the busy holiday rush.

Tech-Enhanced In-Store Navigation

Target is also redefining the in-store experience with smart navigation powered by digital innovation. When shoppers enter a store, the enhanced Store Mode in the Target app automatically activates, guiding them through aisles to locate desired gifts and discover new deals. If any product is out of stock, the app immediately suggests alternative fulfillment options — including same-day or next-day delivery — ensuring no wish list goes unfulfilled.
