Fujitsu has announced an expanded partnership with NVIDIA to develop a comprehensive full-stack AI infrastructure that integrates advanced AI agents. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen enterprise competitiveness through AI while ensuring organizations retain full control and autonomy over their AI usage.
The collaboration focuses on co-developing and delivering an AI agent platform specifically designed for industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, and robotics. Alongside this, both companies are building an advanced AI computing infrastructure that merges the FUJITSU-MONAKA CPU series with NVIDIA GPUs via NVIDIA NVLink Fusion. This powerful combination will drive the next phase of industrial AI innovation, enabling AI systems that continuously learn, evolve, and adapt across sectors.
By integrating these technologies, Fujitsu and NVIDIA aim to create self-evolving AI ecosystems that overcome the limits of traditional computing systems. The joint initiative also supports Fujitsu’s vision of accelerating AI adoption in Japan and expanding globally to enhance productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability across industries.
Driving the Next Wave of AI Innovation
While generative AI has already revolutionized creativity and communication, deployment challenges—such as high costs and technical complexities—have restricted its benefits mainly to large corporations. Fujitsu’s collaboration with NVIDIA seeks to change that by democratizing access to AI infrastructure and enabling widespread industrial transformation.
Working together, the companies envision a human–AI co-creation cycle, integrating high-speed AI computing with human ingenuity. This will accelerate innovations such as digital twins, physical AI, and robotics automation, addressing labor shortages and enhancing decision-making in manufacturing and beyond.
Core Focus Areas of the Collaboration
The expanded partnership emphasizes three key initiatives:
-
Co-developing a self-evolving AI agent platform — Built on Fujitsu Kozuchi and the NVIDIA Dynamo platform, the solution will feature multi-tenancy support for enhanced security and performance. It will integrate Fujitsu’s AI orchestrator technology and NVIDIA NeMo, enabling AI agents to evolve autonomously and adapt to specific industries and customer needs.
-
Creating next-generation computing infrastructure — The companies will co-develop a high-performance platform that combines FUJITSU-MONAKA CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs, engineered for zetascale computing. This infrastructure will deliver unmatched speed, efficiency, and scalability for AI workloads.
-
Building a global AI ecosystem — Fujitsu and NVIDIA plan to establish strong partnerships and real-world use cases to accelerate AI-driven transformation, particularly in robotics, healthcare, and manufacturing, contributing to global digital growth.
Shared Vision for AI Transformation
Takahito Tokita, Representative Director and CEO of Fujitsu, stated:
"Fujitsu’s strategic collaboration with NVIDIA will accelerate AI-driven business transformation in enterprise and government sectors. By combining the cutting-edge technologies of both companies, we will develop and provide full-stack AI infrastructure, starting with sectors such as manufacturing where Japan is a global leader. To further support the expanding needs of AI infrastructure, Fujitsu and NVIDIA will expand this partnership in the areas of high-performance computing and quantum."
Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, added:
"The AI industrial revolution has begun, and we must build the infrastructure to power it — in Japan and across the globe. Fujitsu is a true pioneer in computing and Japan’s trusted leader in supercomputing, quantum research, and enterprise systems. Together, NVIDIA and Fujitsu are connecting and extending our ecosystems to forge a powerful partnership for the era of AI."
This collaboration marks a pivotal step toward building AI-powered, cross-industry ecosystems that will redefine innovation, efficiency, and scalability for enterprises worldwide.
