Freight Tech Adds AI Invoice Checks to Fleet Rocket, Fr8app

Freight Technologies, Inc., widely known as Fr8Tech, has rolled out a major enhancement to its logistics technology platforms with the launch of an AI-powered automation module for its flagship Fr8app and Fleet Rocket Transport Management System (TMS).

The new feature, called Carrier Auto Invoicing, leverages large language model (LLM) technology to automate data extraction and validation processes from XML and PDF invoices. This innovation enables faster and more accurate verification of carrier invoices while ensuring full compliance with Mexico’s CFDI (Comprobantes Fiscal Digital por Internet) electronic invoicing regulations, overseen by the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT).

By integrating AI and automation into its freight billing workflows, Fr8Tech aims to simplify one of the most time-intensive areas of logistics management—invoice validation and reconciliation. With this update, both carriers and back-office teams can easily upload required documentation, such as official XML and PDF invoices, directly into the system. From there, the platform automatically performs end-to-end validation, verifies key data fields, and updates shipment statuses within workflows—significantly reducing manual input and the risk of human error.

The AI-driven system also generates traceable and auditable validation records, providing real-time alerts through built-in automated billing logs and error channels. This ensures that any discrepancies are flagged and resolved swiftly, supporting greater transparency and accuracy in freight billing.

“This launch marks a significant step forward in operational efficiency and compliance for our customers in Mexico and across North America,” said Javier Selgas, CEO of Freight Technologies. “By integrating AI and automation directly into our workflow platforms, we’ve removed one of the most notoriously time-consuming manual tasks in traditional freight billing, enabling the delivery of faster settlements, improved accuracy, and enhanced fiscal transparency. This innovation also reflects Fr8Tech’s commitment to building technology solutions that go beyond digital freight forwarding services as we continue to transform our portfolio with scalable SaaS products designed to help carriers and shippers automate critical processes and unlock efficiency gains across North America.”

This new module underscores Fr8Tech’s mission to combine cutting-edge AI capabilities with real-world logistics needs. The company continues to evolve its SaaS-based transport management offerings, focusing on innovation that drives automation, cost efficiency, and smarter operations for carriers and shippers throughout the North American supply chain.
