Enlyte Appoints Keith Higdon as CMO President

Enlyte Appoints Keith Higdon as CMO President

Enlyte is entering a new chapter in its leadership journey with the appointment of Keith Higdon as President of Customer and Market Operations (CMO). A seasoned industry leader with 30 years of experience, Higdon steps into the role as Enlyte continues to focus on building deeper relationships with customers and expanding its market presence.

Higdon takes over from Nina Smith, who has been a cornerstone of Enlyte’s leadership team for nearly two decades. After 17 years in executive roles including the last four as CMO President Smith is transitioning away from day-to-day operations to become Enlyte’s first Vice Chairman. In this new role, she will stay closely involved with the business, supporting key client relationships, advising senior leadership, and mentoring the next generation of industry leaders.

With a career that spans nearly every corner of the P&C industry, Higdon brings both breadth and depth to the role. He has held senior leadership positions such as CEO of Mission Underwriters LLC and President of ESIS Inc., along with impactful roles at Chubb and Sedgwick. His experience across claims, underwriting, analytics, and customer partnerships gives him a practical, customer-first perspective that aligns closely with Enlyte’s mission.

Over the past year, Higdon has already been working alongside Enlyte’s leadership team, helping explore new growth opportunities, sharpen omnichannel strategies, and enhance the overall customer experience. That hands-on collaboration has made his transition into the role feel like a continuation of ongoing momentum rather than a change in direction.

“Keith has a rare combination of industry insight and genuine care for customers,” said Alex Sun, President and CEO of Enlyte. “He understands where the industry has been, where it’s going, and what our customers need along the way. Keith has already made a real impact, and I’m excited to see the CMO organization continue to grow under his leadership.”

Higdon shared his appreciation for the opportunity and for the team he’s joining. “I’m truly honored to step into this role,” he said. “Nina and the team have built something incredibly strong. The talent, energy, and commitment across Enlyte are inspiring, and I’m excited about what we can achieve together in the years ahead.”

For Smith, the transition is both reflective and forward-looking. “The work we’ve done together has been one of the great privileges of my career,” she said. “The foundation is solid, and I have complete confidence in Keith’s leadership. I’m looking forward to continuing to support Enlyte, our people, and our customers in this next phase.”

The leadership transition highlights Enlyte’s focus on continuity, trust, and long-term growth honoring the people who built the organization while embracing the opportunities ahead.
