BICS and NUSO Strengthen Global Cloud Communications Partnership

BICS and NUSO Strengthen Global Cloud Communications Partnership

BICS and NUSO have taken their collaboration to the next level by expanding their partnership to strengthen cloud-based communication services for businesses operating internationally. This move reflects both companies’ shared objective of delivering more reliable, flexible, and scalable connectivity solutions to organizations that depend on cloud communications to support customer engagement and operational growth.

As more companies shift away from traditional telephony systems, cloud communications have become essential for managing business interactions. Instead of relying on fixed hardware, enterprises now prefer internet-based calling solutions that provide greater flexibility and faster scalability. These technologies allow companies to communicate securely across different locations while adapting quickly to evolving business demands. Therefore, partnerships between global connectivity providers and cloud communication specialists have become increasingly important.

Through this expanded agreement, NUSO will play a central role in supporting BICS’ cloud communication capabilities within the United States. Specifically, NUSO will help strengthen voice services and cloud number availability, improving the reliability and redundancy of BICS’ network. In return, BICS will supply NUSO with access to international cloud numbering resources, enabling the company to support customers expanding into overseas markets and improve its global service reach.

As a result, businesses will benefit from quicker implementation of advanced communication platforms such as Unified Communications as a Service and Contact Center as a Service. In addition, easier access to global numbering resources will help enterprises meet regional regulatory requirements and simplify expansion into new territories. This improved infrastructure will ensure that businesses can maintain consistent and dependable communication channels across borders.

Jorn Vercamert, CPO, Proximus Global said: “This partnership will further support enterprise customers to expand globally with confidence and ease, combining NUSO’s robust US sales force and strong enterprise customer base with our well-established global connectivity and regulatory expertise.”

Both companies bring unique strengths to the partnership. BICS contributes its extensive global network infrastructure and expertise in international connectivity, while NUSO offers strong market presence and customer relationships in North America. By combining these capabilities, the partnership aims to deliver end-to-end communication solutions tailored to the needs of multinational enterprises.

Matt Siemens, CEO, NUSO, said: “This is a true partnership. As NUSO becomes BICS’ strategic partner for US cloud telephony services, BICS is supporting our international expansion into new territories, including Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. Together, we are strengthening the foundations for enterprises and global brands that rely on secure, redundant communications that can scale across borders.”

This latest development builds on a relationship that has already spanned more than five years. During that time, both organizations have worked closely to enhance voice services and routing capabilities. Moving forward, BICS will also provide strategic advisory support and fraud prevention expertise, helping NUSO maintain secure and resilient network operations. Additionally, BICS will assist with NUSO’s transition away from traditional PSTN systems toward modern cloud-based communication frameworks.

Overall, the expanded collaboration reflects the growing importance of strong global partnerships in the cloud communications sector. By aligning their expertise and infrastructure, BICS and NUSO are enabling businesses to adopt more efficient communication technologies, strengthen global connectivity, and support long-term digital transformation.
