Apivia Courtage Adds Agentic AI via SoundHound’s Amelia 7

SoundHound AI, Inc., a global leader in voice and conversational AI, has announced an expanded collaboration with Apivia Courtage, part of the AEMA Group, one of the world’s largest mutual and cooperative insurance providers. Together, they are integrating agentic AI into Apivia Courtage’s contact centers using SoundHound’s next-generation Amelia 7 AI agent platform.

Apivia Courtage is implementing Amelia 7, one of the first fully agentic AI platforms available today, as a cornerstone of its ongoing digital transformation strategy. This initiative builds upon the companies’ successful relationship, which previously resulted in a 20% increase in productivity at Apivia Courtage’s contact center, thanks to SoundHound’s Amelia platform.

Since the beginning of their collaboration in 2023, both companies have focused on using AI-powered agents to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer service. SoundHound’s AI agents have already managed thousands of customer inquiries related to medical expense reimbursements and insurance coverage information, freeing Apivia’s human agents to dedicate more time to strengthening broker and client relationships.

With the launch of Amelia 7, Apivia Courtage will now deploy fleets of advanced AI agents capable of reasoning, taking actions, and executing multi-intent tasks autonomously. This next step will enable customers to handle their own queries more efficiently, minimizing the need for human escalation and ensuring a smoother, faster service experience.

Key functions of Amelia 7 for Apivia Courtage include:

  • Verifying customer identity via one-time passwords during natural conversations

  • Handling contract-related queries

  • Updating customer details such as postal addresses or contact numbers

  • Calculating financial impacts of policy modifications

  • Sending personalized quotes or scheduling meetings with human advisors

Apivia Courtage is taking a pioneering step in the insurance industry with this deployment and will present a pilot demo at the Reavie conference in Cannes, France, from October 8–10, 2025. The company’s decision followed rigorous testing of SoundHound’s agentic AI, powered by large language models (LLMs), under stringent benchmarks to ensure customer-ready reliability.

Amelia 7’s Agentic+ framework enables organizations to combine LLM reasoning and planning with deterministic workflows and human escalation when necessary. Operating across multiple communication channels including chat, text, and voice the AI agents leverage SoundHound’s advanced speech recognition technology, known for low latency and exceptional natural language understanding. This allows customers to interact naturally and be understood with remarkable accuracy.
