Xebia Partners with Georgia Tech to Advance AI Workforce Development

Xebia Partners with Georgia Tech to Advance AI Workforce Development

Xebia, a global leader in digital transformation and IT consulting, has entered into a new collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology to explore fresh opportunities in AI-driven workforce development, professional training, and applied research. The partnership underscores both organizations’ commitment to preparing today’s workforce for tomorrow’s AI-enabled business environment. It also reflects a shared belief that organizations must accelerate talent readiness to remain competitive in an increasingly digital and rapidly evolving marketplace.

The collaboration is being formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which outlines several promising areas for joint exploration. This includes working together on new certificate programs, building training solutions designed for real enterprise needs, and possibly partnering on hands-on research in areas like AI, data science, agile practices, and product management. Together, Xebia and Georgia Tech aim to address the growing demand for high-quality, industry-aligned learning experiences that equip professionals with the skills needed to thrive in modern organizations.

Brijesh Kohli, Vice President and Head of Xebia Academy, highlighted the importance of this partnership, stating,
“Georgia Tech College of Lifetime learning is a global leader in technology and professional education, and we’re proud to collaborate on what we see as a meaningful opportunity to expand access to skills that support AI readiness and enterprise transformation. This relationship aligns with our broader mission at Xebia to help organizations stay ahead of change by investing in capabilities like agile delivery, data literacy, and applied AI. By combining academic insight with hands-on industry knowledge, we believe this collaboration can create lasting value for learners and the businesses they support.”

Georgia Tech, through its Professional Education division (GTPE), has built a strong reputation for offering workforce-aligned, application-based learning designed to bridge academic theory with industry practice. According to the MOU, the collaboration will explore a variety of non-credit and certificate-based courses that match current and emerging enterprise needs—particularly in the areas of AI, agile delivery, and data science. Georgia Tech’s established credibility in technology leadership makes it a natural partner for shaping next-generation professional education.

Dr. William Gaudelli, Inaugural Dean of the College of Lifetime Learning at Georgia Tech, emphasized the measurable business value these programs can deliver. He shared,
“Georgia Tech is committed to working with enterprise organizations to demonstrate how our learning programs generate measurable ROI and drive tangible business impact. Together, Xebia and Georgia Tech will identify enterprise learning opportunities where they can demonstrate how their joint expertise translates learning into real business outcomes, helping organizations achieve their broader strategic objectives.”

The partnership blends Xebia’s industry expertise—including through Xebia Academy—with Georgia Tech’s academic rigor to co-create scalable, practical learning pathways. Both organizations aim to design programs that support not only foundational upskilling, but also leadership development, team readiness, and AI adoption across functional areas.

Additionally, the collaboration opens opportunities to extend AI and technology training to global markets across the Middle East and APAC—regions where Xebia has a strong presence. Governments and enterprises in Saudi Arabia and other countries are already investing heavily in IT workforce development, positioning this partnership to support wide-scale talent transformation. Potential areas of exploration include co-developed non-credit certificate programs and applied research in fast-growing fields such as generative AI and agentic AI.

While the partnership is still in its early phases, it lays a strong foundation for enterprise-focused programs that address the rising need for strategic AI education. By centering real-world business problems and practical applications, Xebia and Georgia Tech aim to design initiatives that help organizations seamlessly integrate AI into everyday operations, decision-making, and long-term transformation strategies.
