UiPath has introduced a new suite of agentic AI solutions aimed at eliminating administrative and financial bottlenecks across the healthcare ecosystem. The company announced these innovations at ViVE 2026, targeting both providers and payers with advanced automation tools designed to streamline revenue cycle management (RCM).
As healthcare systems continue to struggle with labor shortages, disconnected legacy platforms, and rising compliance demands, organizations face mounting operational pressure. In particular, revenue cycle management remains one of the most complex and friction-heavy areas. Providers must convert massive volumes of clinical documentation into structured, payer-ready data, while payers must validate and reimburse claims accurately. Consequently, delays, denials, and administrative overload often hinder both financial performance and patient care delivery.
To address these challenges, UiPath has developed purpose-built, fully governed agentic AI agents that integrate business orchestration and automation. These solutions connect fragmented datasets, enhance workflow efficiency, and accelerate reimbursement cycles. By transforming unstructured clinical records into decision-ready intelligence, healthcare providers can reduce accounts receivable timelines and minimize costly write-offs. At the same time, payers can safeguard payment accuracy and compliance integrity.
The initial solution suite includes:
-
Medical Records Summarization (MRS): Converts fragmented medical records into concise, citation-backed summaries, significantly cutting review time and enabling faster clinical decisions.
-
Claim Denial Prevention and Resolution: Identifies root causes of denials, automates corrective actions, and orchestrates appeals to protect revenue streams and strengthen compliance.
-
Prior Authorization Automation: Reduces administrative workload by validating eligibility, mapping clinical data to medical necessity criteria, routing complex cases appropriately, and delivering real-time status updates.
Benjamin Smith, Vice President of Technology at medlitix, shared measurable results: “Since implementing the UiPath MRS solution, we've reduced the average summary review time from 70 minutes to six, a 90 percent improvement. Our clinicians are spending more time on direct patient care and less time digging through documentation. The structured output and citations give us confidence in what we're reviewing.”
Similarly, Biju Samkutty, Chief Operating Officer, International & Enterprise Automation at Mayo Clinic, emphasized the broader transformation underway: “As an organization, we are moving down the path of the deployment of intelligent automation across the board. This was a fundamental decision to accelerate the transformation and the change we need to occur, allowing us to apply capabilities that are not inherent in healthcare the way we see it today. We’re focused on technologies, platforms, and other ways to augment the work and reduce the administrative burden for our clinicians and staff so that they can do what they do best—care for patients and support them accordingly.”
Moreover, UiPath has partnered with Genzeon to strengthen its prior authorization offering. Genzeon, selected by CMS for the WISeR Model, contributes deep payer expertise, disease-specific clinical models, and compliance frameworks tailored for regulated environments.
Graham Sheldon, Chief Product Officer at UiPath, highlighted the urgency of transformation: “The opportunity for agentic transformation in healthcare is huge, and the stakes could not be any higher. Labor challenges, rising costs, increasing and complex regulations… all of these are a catalyst for fundamental change to the ultimate benefits of payers, providers, and patients. Our new agentic automation and orchestration offerings connect data across the enterprise, accelerate critical workflows, and remove the costly, time-consuming errors that create friction and delay results.”
Ultimately, UiPath’s latest launch signals a decisive shift toward intelligent, enterprise-grade healthcare automation that enhances efficiency, compliance, and patient outcomes.
