SK Telecom (SKT) announced on the 29th that it is scaling its business AI solution, Adot Biz, across 25 SK Group subsidiaries by the end of 2025. Jointly developed with SK AX, the move reflects SKT’s ambition to transform workplace efficiency and accelerate digital innovation throughout the group.

Adot Biz is positioned as SKT’s flagship B2B AI agent. It has been designed to handle a wide range of tasks, from daily activities like schedule management, meeting minutes, and information retrieval, to more complex functions such as recruitment support. What makes the platform stand out is its natural language capability. Employees can simply type requests—like “Please let me know today’s meeting schedule”—into a chat window, and the system not only delivers the information but also executes related tasks. This includes booking meeting rooms and sending out notifications to attendees, streamlining workflows end to end.

To strengthen usability, SKT recently introduced two key features: Agent Builder and Agent Store. Agent Builder enables employees, even those without IT expertise, to create customized AI agents securely using internal company data. These agents can then be distributed through the Agent Store, allowing organization-wide access. For example, HR professionals can build an agent to respond to routine personnel queries and share it across teams, significantly reducing manual workload.

Earlier this year, SKT and SK AX employees participated in a closed beta test (CBT) of Adot Biz. Feedback revealed particularly strong demand for Agent Builder, prompting SKT to enhance features like feedback collection, knowledge management, and overall usability. Following these improvements, the platform was officially launched internally at SKT and SK AX in late June.

The rollout to SK Group companies has already begun. Starting this month, Adot Biz is being deployed at SK Gas, SK Networks, SK D&D, SK Bioscience, SK Broadband, SK Chemicals, and SK Discovery. By year’s end, the solution will expand to 25 affiliates, including SK Hynix and SK Innovation, covering around 80,000 employees.

Looking forward, SKT aims to extend Adot Biz into multiple industries such as telecommunications, IT, manufacturing, and petrochemicals. The company emphasized that reliability and security will be maintained through ongoing service improvements and industry-specific customization.

Additionally, SKT’s proprietary Large Language Model (LLM) A.X will be integrated with SK AX’s specialized AI technologies to serve companies like SK Hynix (semiconductors), SK On (batteries), and SK Siltron (materials)—all of which manage national core technologies. This integration is expected to ensure high performance while safeguarding sensitive data.

By scaling Adot Biz across its subsidiaries, SKT anticipates that employees will experience more efficient workflows, broader AI adoption, and a significant step forward in workplace innovation across the SK Group.
