ServiceNow, widely recognized as the AI control tower for business reinvention, has officially completed its acquisition of Moveworks, marking a major milestone in its journey to embed AI more deeply across the enterprise. This strategic move significantly advances ServiceNow’s mission to put AI to work for people by uniting its trusted agentic AI and intelligent workflows with Moveworks’ intuitive front-end AI assistant, enterprise search capabilities, and agentic Reasoning Engine.
As organizations continue to modernize operations, employees increasingly expect work experiences that are simple, intuitive, and fast. However, many enterprises still struggle with fragmented systems, siloed data, and complex workflows that slow productivity. By bringing Moveworks into the ServiceNow ecosystem, the combined organization aims to redefine how employees interact with work—transforming conversations into completed actions, accelerating outcomes, and scaling AI adoption across the enterprise.
At the heart of this acquisition is the expansion of the ServiceNow AI Platform. ServiceNow contributes decades of workflow intelligence built into a single, trusted architecture, while Moveworks adds a conversational AI front door that employees already love to use. Together, these capabilities create an AI-native experience that allows users to resolve issues autonomously, trigger intelligent workflows, and get results securely and responsibly at scale.
Amit Zavery, president, chief operating officer, and chief product officer at ServiceNow, highlighted the strategic importance of the deal, stating:
“Moveworks accelerates ServiceNow’s vision to put AI to work for people across every corner of every business. With two decades of workflow intelligence built into a single architecture, we’re powering the agentic AI operating system for the enterprise. Moveworks’ AI Assistant plus ServiceNow’s agentic platform will create an AI-native front door that turns conversations into completed work, allowing customers to resolve issues autonomously, trigger intelligent workflows, and get results – securely, responsibly, and at scale.”
From Moveworks’ perspective, the acquisition unlocks the ability to scale its original vision globally. Bhavin Shah, CEO of Moveworks, emphasized this next phase, saying:
“Moveworks was founded to make work effortless, building a powerful AI assistant platform that gets work done. By joining ServiceNow, we can now scale this agentic strategy for any organization by connecting our AI Assistant and enterprise search, powered by our Reasoning Engine, with ServiceNow’s trusted workflow automation and AI governance. Together, we’ll deliver secure, fast, end-to-end resolution for employees everywhere.”
Importantly, the combination brings employee experiences together on a single intelligent platform. The ServiceNow AI Platform already delivers natively integrated AI that automates work at scale with trust and transparency. With its seamless integration into ServiceNow, Moveworks adds a powerful front-end layer that allows employees to ask questions, search for information, and take action naturally—regardless of where they work. As a result, every request can connect directly to autonomous fulfillment, breaking down silos and accelerating time to value across teams.
Agentic AI is already delivering measurable results for ServiceNow customers worldwide. Thousands of organizations use ServiceNow’s AI agents to accelerate response times and improve productivity. Internally, ServiceNow reports that AI agents now resolve 90% of IT issues and 89% of customer support requests autonomously, reducing resolution times by nearly sevenfold. These results demonstrate the scale and impact of agentic AI when embedded directly into enterprise workflows.
Moveworks further strengthens this foundation. ServiceNow was already one of Moveworks’ more than 100 technology integrations, and Moveworks’ AI assistant and enterprise search are trusted by global brands such as Siemens, Toyota, and Unilever. With approximately 5.5 million employee users and nearly 250 mutual customers already using both platforms, the acquisition builds on proven, real-world adoption. Notably, almost 90% of Moveworks customers have deployed the technology across their entire workforce, signaling strong enterprise-wide usage.
In addition, hundreds of AI experts from Moveworks will join ServiceNow, bringing deep technical expertise that will accelerate innovation and execution across ServiceNow’s AI roadmap. This infusion of talent further enhances ServiceNow’s ability to deliver intelligent experiences that understand employee intent, connect to the right enterprise data or AI agent, and orchestrate end-to-end workflows across IT, HR, and other business functions.
Overall, the completion of the Moveworks acquisition strengthens the ServiceNow AI Platform’s position as a unified, scalable foundation for intelligent work. By combining conversational AI, enterprise search, agentic reasoning, and workflow automation, ServiceNow is setting a new standard for how AI transforms employee engagement and drives productivity across every corner of the enterprise.
