Infobip Upgrades Voice Solutions to Restore Consumer Trust in North America

Infobip Upgrades Voice Solutions to Restore Consumer Trust in North America

Infobip, the global cloud communications leader, is expanding its Voice capabilities to strengthen its Branded Calling ID (BCID™) offering across North America. As fraud-related calls surge ranging from spoofed caller IDs to sophisticated robocall scams businesses are urgently searching for new ways to restore consumer trust. Infobip aims to help brands deliver safer, verified voice communication during a time when trust in phone calls is rapidly deteriorating.

The rise in fraudulent voice activity has created a significant challenge for businesses that rely on calls for customer engagement. Research from Talker reveals that Americans are targeted by fraudulent calls at twice the rate of other regions. According to Morning Consult, this has caused widespread skepticism, with more than 75% of Americans choosing to ignore most incoming calls. Infobip believes that BCID will play a critical role in reversing this trend by providing authenticated, branded caller information that helps consumers feel confident answering calls again.

Infobip has built a reputation for secure and scalable global voice services, supporting more than 3,000 enterprise voice customers, including major brands like Uber, LG, and Mercado Libre. These organizations trust Infobip to provide seamless customer communication in both highly regulated and difficult-to-reach markets. As branded calling becomes essential for businesses wanting to improve answer rates and protect customer relationships, Infobip is enhancing its Voice portfolio to accelerate BCID adoption across the U.S.

“Voice communications is a staple for every touchpoint of the customer journey, but the intensifying number of voice scams and robocalls are driving consumer skepticism, costing businesses billions of dollars every year,” said Mijo Soldin, Vice President of Telecom Strategy and Partnerships at Infobip. “Trust, privacy and security have long been a top consumer priority across various industries, and organizations that have not yet adopted BCID are increasingly losing assurance from existing and prospective customers. Our Voice solution aims to alleviate roadblocks in implementing secure, verified calling so businesses can rebuild their reputation as a brand that people trust and ensure they can reach their customers wherever they want to be reached.”

To reinforce its position as a trusted global communications provider, Infobip has continuously invested in strengthening its voice infrastructure. This year, the company completed its acquisition of Peerless Network, enabling it to build a nationwide voice network covering 98% of the United States. It also expanded its partnership with NumHub to launch Branded Calling ID within its Voice offering, helping enterprises maintain full control over their brand identity when contacting customers. Additionally, Infobip is collaborating with major telecom providers across the U.S. to simplify BCID onboarding and expand adoption.

“Branded Calling ID enables businesses to provide verified rich caller information that consumers can trust, restoring confidence in voice calling and making calls more efficient for businesses,” said Tom Sawanobori, SVP and CTO of CTIA. “We are so glad to have Infobip as an Authorized Partner in this growing ecosystem.”

Through these strategic advancements, Infobip is positioning BCID as a critical solution in rebuilding customer trust, improving call answer rates, and empowering businesses to deliver secure, verified, and recognizable communications.
