HCLTech has announced an expanded strategic collaboration with Google Cloud to accelerate enterprise adoption of Agentic AI across multiple industries. Through this strengthened partnership, HCLTech plans to develop advanced AI agents using Gemini Enterprise and the broader Gemini models, helping organizations scale their AI-driven transformation initiatives.
As businesses continue to expand their AI strategies, they increasingly require technologies that integrate intelligence directly into operational systems, business workflows, and decision-making processes. Therefore, HCLTech intends to embed Gemini-powered capabilities across enterprise environments, enabling organizations to unlock new business opportunities, enhance productivity, and streamline operations.
Moreover, several AI agents already developed by HCLTech are currently available through the Google Cloud Marketplace, allowing customers to quickly deploy AI-driven solutions tailored to their industry needs.
With this expanded collaboration, the companies are launching a structured program designed to accelerate both Generative AI and Agentic AI adoption among enterprise customers. The initiative will also support the development of internal expertise by creating more Google Cloud specialists within HCLTech. In addition, the program aims to support over 2,000 GenAI-driven customer engagements, helping businesses integrate AI capabilities into real-world operations.
A key component of the partnership focuses on solution innovation. HCLTech will combine its AI Force with Google Cloud’s Gemini family of AI models and Gemini Code Assist to improve software development and IT operations. Furthermore, the collaboration will support digital transformation initiatives such as enterprise migrations from platforms like Oracle, SAP, and VMware to Google Cloud, as well as security modernization programs.
Another important initiative within the partnership is the expansion of HCLTech’s Agentic Center of Excellence (CoE). This program will focus on developing industry-specific AI solutions that address unique operational challenges. For example, HCLTech plans to further develop offerings like Insight, designed for the manufacturing sector, and Netsight, which supports telecommunications companies.
Additionally, HCLTech plans to launch Gemini Experience Zones, which will serve as physical innovation hubs located in key global regions. These centers will allow enterprises to explore and test AI-powered solutions before implementing them at scale.
Talent development also plays a major role in the collaboration. HCLTech plans to significantly expand its Google Cloud-certified workforce—from 12,000 professionals today to more than 35,000 within the next three years. This expansion will ensure the company has the technical expertise needed to deliver AI-driven solutions to global clients.
