Elisa Industriq’s Polystar Launches Agentic AI with Automated Anomaly Detection

Elisa Industriq’s Polystar Launches Agentic AI with Automated Anomaly Detection

Polystar, part of Elisa Industriq, is set to introduce four advanced AI-driven capabilities at Mobile World Congress 2026, reinforcing its commitment to helping telecom operators manage rising network complexity while safeguarding service quality. These new innovations—agentic AI, automated anomaly detection, a forecasting capacity tool, and end-to-end analytics for Fixed Broadband and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)—are fully integrated into Polystar’s Kalix assurance platform.

As telecom networks continue to evolve, operators face mounting pressure to maintain performance across increasingly complex, multi-vendor environments. At the same time, customer expectations for reliability and speed remain high. Therefore, Polystar’s latest updates focus on enabling faster, data-driven decisions and more intelligent automation across both mobile and fixed domains.

At the center of the launch is a new agentic AI framework. Unlike generic AI solutions, this framework introduces a library of telecom-trained expert agents that operate within a governed data fabric. Specifically designed for telecom assurance, these agents leverage Polystar’s deep industry expertise and structured network data to deliver precise insights, collaborative root-cause analysis, and secure automation. As a result, operators can confidently manage network performance while reducing manual intervention and operational risk.

In addition, Polystar is enhancing Kalix with AI-based anomaly detection powered by advanced machine learning models. This capability identifies, prioritizes, and explains service-impacting anomalies in real time with statistical accuracy. By combining an integrated knowledge base with LLM-powered tools, the solution allows network teams to resolve issues more quickly and target the most critical service disruptions. Consequently, operators can minimize downtime and improve customer experience.

Meanwhile, the new forecasting capacity tool offers ready-to-deploy functionality for estimating and managing network node capacity. The solution aggregates all ingested data sources, including existing probe-based data collection, and applies proven machine learning models to generate long-term, network-wide capacity forecasts and traffic predictions. This proactive approach enables operators to optimize infrastructure planning and prepare for future demand growth efficiently.

Furthermore, Polystar is extending Kalix beyond mobile networks with a comprehensive end-to-end analytics and assurance solution for Fixed Broadband and FWA. By correlating data across customer premises equipment (CPE), access networks, and core infrastructure, the platform delivers a unified view of customer experience. AI-driven anomaly detection and automated root-cause analysis further accelerate first-call resolution, improving service responsiveness.

All four capabilities will be demonstrated at Polystar’s stand (Hall 5, Stand 5F35) at Mobile World Congress 2026.

Thomas Nilsson, Chief Product Officer, Polystar, Elisa Industriq, emphasized the importance of practical AI adoption:

“Operators are under pressure to extract more value from their data – and to do so with confidence. These capabilities bring together AI, automation, and deep telecom expertise in a way that is practical for live networks”

Through these innovations, Polystar strengthens its role in advancing AI-powered telecom assurance and enabling smarter, more resilient networks.
