Cyient Limited, a global provider of Intelligent Engineering solutions, has officially opened its new Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Lisbon, Portugal. The center was inaugurated by Shri Puneet R. Kundal, Honourable Ambassador of India to Portugal, along with Sukamal Banerjee, Executive Director and CEO of Cyient. This launch reinforces Cyient’s growing focus on innovation, co-creation, and long-term collaboration with global partners as it works to advance network modernization across the connectivity industry.
The Lisbon CEC is designed as a forward-thinking innovation hub where customers and partners can explore Cyient’s intelligent engineering capabilities firsthand. By offering an environment that encourages rapid prototyping, experimentation, and solution development, the center aims to help organizations simplify, automate, and accelerate their digital transformation journeys in a fast-expanding hyperconnected world.
During the inauguration, Shri Puneet R. Kundal highlighted the importance of this initiative for both countries, stating, "The inauguration of Cyient's Customer Experience Center in Lisbon is a testament to the deepening partnership between India and Portugal in the areas of technology, innovation, and digital infrastructure. By bringing cutting-edge capabilities in 5G, AI-powered network operations, and fibre evolution to Europe, Cyient is not only showcasing India's strength in intelligent engineering but also enabling global operators to build more resilient, secure, and sustainable networks…"
At the Lisbon center, visitors can explore multiple next-generation showcases that demonstrate Cyient’s innovation leadership. The Pre-Integration Lab features multi-vendor O-RAN integration and focuses on key areas such as energy optimization, network slicing, assurance, anomaly detection, and site surveillance. These capabilities provide a strong framework for designing and scaling enterprise-grade 5G networks and beyond.
Another highlight is the Network Operations Center (NOC), where AI-driven workflows for network fulfilment and assurance are demonstrated. The NOC incorporates agentic AI capabilities that support predictive maintenance and deep root-cause analysis—helping operators enhance network efficiency and reliability. Additionally, the Fibre Evolution Showcase illustrates automated data migration throughout the fibre lifecycle, supporting operators in aligning their infrastructure with merger, acquisition, and monetization strategies. Each solution is developed with scalability in mind, ensuring compatibility with future technologies and partner-driven innovations.
Arunav Roy, SVP & Global Business Unit Head for Connectivity at Cyient, emphasized the strategic value of this innovation hub. He noted, "The Lisbon CEC is a launchpad for the next generation of network modernization. It is where domain expertise meets AI-powered engineering, enabling operators to intelligently automate workflows, modernize network stacks, and accelerate rollout of future-ready networks…"
The launch of the Lisbon CEC further strengthens Cyient’s global footprint of experience centers. It complements the organization’s CyientifIQ Experience Center in Hyderabad, India, which showcases intelligent engineering across a range of industries. Together, these centers reflect Cyient’s mission of Designing Tomorrow Together, fueling cross-industry collaboration and driving customer-centric innovation for a more connected future.
