Salesforce to Acquire Regrello, Third Deal in Three Weeks

Salesforce has entered into an agreement to acquire Regrello, marking yet another bold move in its recent series of acquisitions. This deal represents Salesforce’s third purchase in just three weeks, following its agreements to buy Bluebirds and Waii.

But bringing Regrello on board adds a new layer to Salesforce’s game plan. Regrello provides an AI-powered collaboration platform designed specifically for supply chain and operations management. Many enterprises still rely on outdated systems such as decades-old ERPs, spreadsheets, and email to manage their supply chains. These legacy processes often result in poor visibility, manual inefficiencies, and inconsistent workflows.

Regrello aims to solve these challenges. According to Aman Naimat, CEO of Regrello, the platform was created to “eliminate” enterprise friction points and automate processes across the supply chain. Now, by joining Salesforce, Naimat sees a greater opportunity to accelerate this mission. He stated:

“Joining Salesforce gives us the reach and platform to bring agentic process automation to more organizations, helping teams break free from old, slow, and expensive ways of working to agile, AI-powered execution.”

Backed by engineers from Google, Meta, and Palantir, Regrello’s technology enables real-time collaboration, stronger visibility, and more connected workflows. The platform also emphasizes security with a robust architecture that includes secure coding practices, automated patching, encryption, and continuous penetration testing.

Strengthening Slack and Agentforce

Salesforce noted that acquiring Regrello will directly strengthen both Slack and Agentforce. Although details were limited, the potential is clear.

For Slack, Regrello could transform the collaboration app into a central hub for logistics and operations teams, enabling them to act on workflows rather than just discuss them. Meanwhile, Agentforce could benefit from Regrello’s AI-driven automation, allowing intelligent agents to streamline tasks across supply chain, finance, sales, and customer service.

Steve Fisher, President & Chief Product Officer at Salesforce, emphasized the significance of this acquisition:

“Businesses need greater agility, yet too often critical processes are hindered by disconnected tools and manual workflows. Integrating Regrello will turn unstructured artifacts into coordinated workflows, bringing humans and agents together on the Salesforce Platform and giving every employee the ability to automate manual work, collaborate in real time, and deliver customer value faster.”

The integration of Regrello’s capabilities could be a significant boost for both Slack and Agentforce, creating a more connected and autonomous enterprise ecosystem.

Salesforce’s Acquisition Spree

The Regrello deal follows Salesforce’s recent purchases of Waii and Bluebirds, signaling an aggressive push into AI-driven productivity.

Waii specializes in transforming natural language into SQL queries. This innovation enables non-technical users to access insights from complex databases without needing a data scientist. For instance, a sales representative could simply ask, “Which customers in region A are up for renewal?” and Waii would instantly generate the SQL query to deliver the answer. Its self-learning metadata knowledge graph adds further intelligence, making Salesforce’s data platform more intuitive and widely accessible.

Meanwhile, Bluebirds enhances presales prospecting. By combining targeting, data enrichment, signal scoring, and an AI-powered prospecting agent, Bluebirds streamlines lead identification and qualification. Salesforce intends to embed this capability within Sales Cloud and Agentforce, helping sales reps minimize repetitive tasks and focus more on closing deals.

The Bigger Picture

With three acquisitions in as many weeks Regrello, Waii, and Bluebirds Salesforce is strategically strengthening its AI and automation ecosystem. Each purchase supports its vision of creating a more agile, data-driven, and connected enterprise. By unifying collaboration, data intelligence, and process automation, Salesforce is positioning itself to lead the next era of enterprise transformation.
