Rubrik has announced the launch of Rubrik Agent Cloud for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, introducing a new layer of oversight and security for autonomous AI agents operating across multi-cloud environments. The announcement, made at AWS re:Invent 2025, comes at a time when agentic AI systems are becoming more capable—and more risky—without strong governance in place.
Built on the Rubrik Platform, the new offering is designed to give enterprises end-to-end visibility into how AI agents behave, what actions they take, and what data or systems they interact with. By integrating directly with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Rubrik now provides a unified control plane that allows security and operations teams to track agent activity in real time, enforce access guardrails, and rapidly remediate dangerous or unintended actions.
“Amazon Bedrock AgentCore gives developers the flexibility to build and deploy intelligent agents using their choice of AI model or framework,” said Devvret Rishi, General Manager of AI at Rubrik. “With Rubrik Agent Cloud, organizations will have a single plane of glass for the complete AI agent lifecycle—one that enables customers to see every agent in action, enforce policies in real time, and instantly rewind mistakes before they become catastrophic errors.”
The rise of autonomous AI agents has introduced significant new challenges for enterprises. While these agents can streamline workflows and automate complex tasks, they can also cause operational damage if left ungoverned—such as modifying data, misconfiguring systems, or triggering unintended automation chains. Rubrik cited research revealing that 72% of business leaders have seen cyber risks rise this year, with nearly half tied to generative-AI-driven threats. This trend underscores the need for proactive guardrails around AI systems.
Rubrik Agent Cloud addresses these concerns through a comprehensive lifecycle approach. The service monitors agent behavior, governs what they can access or modify, and uses Rubrik’s Agent Rewind technology to reverse harmful agent-generated actions without downtime or data loss. Agent Rewind, introduced earlier in 2025, allows organizations to roll back unintended changes in minutes—an essential feature as AI agents gain more autonomy.
The new integration follows AWS best practices and supports performance management, security, simulation, and operational governance. While some capabilities will be rolled out over time, Rubrik expects broad availability of Agent Cloud for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore in the coming months. Early previews are now being showcased at AWS re:Invent 2025.
In tandem with the product launch, Rubrik announced it has achieved the AWS Resilience Software Competency in the Recovery category. This recognition validates Rubrik’s ability to enhance application availability and operational resilience for enterprises leveraging AWS services.
Both the Agent Cloud integration and the new AWS competency highlight Rubrik’s expanding presence at the intersection of AI operations, data resilience, and security—an area of growing urgency as businesses rapidly adopt autonomous AI agents across their digital ecosystems.
