The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America® (Guardian) has entered into a strategic partnership with Avantos, an AI-native operating system designed to modernize how financial institutions onboard and service clients. Through this collaboration, Guardian aims to strengthen its wealth management capabilities while accelerating its broader AI-driven transformation strategy.
By integrating Avantos’ advanced platform, Guardian’s financial advisors will soon gain access to next-generation tools that enhance client engagement and support holistic financial planning. Initially, the partnership will enable advisors to connect data, teams, and workflows within a single intelligent system. As a result, onboarding processes will become more streamlined, compliant, and consistent across the organization.
Moreover, the platform will reduce operational friction in client management, allowing advisors to boost productivity and dedicate more time to meaningful client interactions. In addition, the system’s scalability and agility will empower advisors to respond more effectively to evolving client needs. Over time, Guardian plans to expand access to additional AI-powered capabilities from Avantos, equipping advisors with tools that address clients’ investment, protection, and long-term financial planning requirements in a more integrated manner.
Beyond technology adoption, Guardian has also taken a strategic step by becoming an insurance partner for Avantos and investing in the company. This early-stage investment reflects Guardian’s strong confidence in the transformative power of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, it demonstrates the company’s commitment to modernizing its platforms and enhancing the overall advisor and client experience.
"Guardian's partnership with Avantos builds on our broader innovation portfolio to empower our advisors to serve as trusted partners in clients' financial lives," said Mike Perry, Head of Client Solutions and Wealth Management at Guardian. "Especially as clients look to navigate the impact and complexity of today's uncertain market, we're making sure our advisors have the tools they need to improve productivity so they can focus on helping clients realize their financial plans and goals."
Similarly, Avantos leadership emphasized the strategic alignment between both organizations. "Avantos was built as an AI-native operating system to modernize how institutions onboard and service clients. We're excited to partner with Guardian to help ensure their advisors can spend more time with clients—and less time in systems," said Rabih Ramadi, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Avantos.
Importantly, this partnership complements other recent enhancements within Guardian’s wealth management division. The company recently appointed Mike Perry as Head of Client Solutions and Wealth Management. Additionally, in January 2026, Guardian launched the Guardian Wealth Advanced Markets team, composed of attorneys, CPAs, CLUs, ChFCs, and tax professionals with more than 255 years of combined experience in advanced financial planning. Through initiatives like The Year Ahead report, the team provides advisors with timely insights, strategic commentary, and actionable resources.
Together, these developments position Guardian at the forefront of AI-enabled wealth management innovation.
